http://www.musicroom.com/blog/music-news/led-zeppelin-premiere-new-film-and-talk-about-jason-bonham-and-future-shows Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones – the three surviving members of Led Zeppelin – made a rare public appearance together on Thursday to unveil and discuss Celebration Day, the film of their 2007 O2 Arena performance.
Following a premiere screening for journalists and reporters, the legendary trio of rock icons staged a press conference to answer questions and discuss the film. They also took the opportunity to praise Jason Bonham, son of the late Led Zepp sticksman John Bonham, for his performance during the one-off O2 gig.
Inevitably, the question of whether the three men might reunite on stage again in the near future was raised, with the band reaming evasive – dodging the query and any talk of the lucrative sums many anticipated reunion shows and tours have generated in recent years.
Robert Plant replied, “That would be kiss and tell” while Jimmy Page asked, “Can I just ask you all if you enjoyed the film?”
he release of Celebration Day, first in cinemas and then later on DVD, comes five years after the O2 performance, which was staged to honour the late Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun. When asked why it has taken so long to get the DVD together, bass player John Paul Jones joked: “Five years is five minutes in Zeppelin time!”
More than 20 million people applied for tickets to the O2 Arena gig with only 18,000 were lucky enough to win in the lottery. It was the band’s first headline show in 27 years and fans around the world are hungry to watch the performance on the big screen.
Celebration Day is to be released in cinemas on October 17, with exclusive pre-release premieres taking place beforehand. The film will then get a general DVD release on November 19. A deluxe edition will also be offered including footage of the Shepperton rehearsals, as well as BBC news archive footage.
The Little Black Songbook Led Zeppelin features all 86 of the band’s songs in one pocket sized songbook. Click the image for more details.
An accompanying Led Zeppelin Celebration Day songbook will also be released to tie into the film and DVD. The track listing is as follows:
Good Times Bad Times Ramble On Black Dog In My Time Of Dying For Your Life Trampled Under Foot Nobody’s Fault But Mine No Quarter Since I’ve Been Loving You Dazed And Confused Stairway To Heaven The Song Remains The Same Misty Mountain Hop Kashmir Whole Lotta Love Rock And Roll

First time I've watched a 34 minute interview on the You Tube This was well worth it and at times I felt chills
Beatles – LED ZEPPELIN or LED ZEPPELIN – Beatles (how wrong can you go)
There are other top groups – musicians that could be put up there . . . maybe . . . . . .whistle any one else are basically just looking up at those two mentioned above (not trying to put down any groups others may have a liking too)
Look forward to DVD release on November 19, 2012
