When Led Zeppelin Starts Playing, You Won't Be Able To Look Away. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ivR87oKyOo Synchronized swimming has also been described as water ballet. The sport is one where grace and artistry are combined with strength, endurance, and flexibility. The women are known to perform their difficult routines to classical music. The Spanish team, however, decided to mix it up a bit by going rock n’roll with Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway to Heaven.”
The song begins softly and slowly only to pick up its tempo in true Zeppelin style. The athletes earned the gold medal for this routine for the 2009 World Aquatics Championships in Rome, Italy.
